Maureen M. Roberts is a Partner at the Law Offices of Russo and Prince, LLP, practicing in the areas of family law and probate - including dissolutions of marriage, annulments, and legal separations, as well as property division, child and spousal support issues, and child custody.  Maureen is a member of the California Lawyers Association, Solano County Bar Association and Contra Costa County Bar Association.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Maureen excelled for 19 years as a legal assistant/paralegal in the area of Family Law. Maureen’s extensive experience in Family Law allows her to understand and address complex legal matters with confidence. Her undergraduate studies focused on Psychology at California State East Bay where she obtained an acute understanding of human behavior, development, aging, emotions and social interactions.

While working full time and raising a family, Maureen earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2015 from John F. Kennedy University School of Law. Maureen was recognized for her achievements and honored with 3 Witkin Awards for academic excellence. As a non-traditional law student, Maureen proved her perseverance and dedication to her studies and family. She gained an appreciation of the criminal justice system and the challenges faced by the indigent population fostered through her internships during and after law school at the Solano County Public Defender’s Office in both the misdemeanor and felony departments.

Born in Walnut Creek, California and having resided in Solano County since 1988, Maureen is dedicated to her local community where she resides with her husband and two  sons. Maureen’s unique background allows her to provide grounded perspectives and understanding to clients who must navigate through emotional issues involved in the areas of practice.
